The U.S. Blockade of Iran Just Expanded From One Ocean to Two
Two days ago the U.S. Navy boarded the TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman — a ship tied to Iran’s WMD networks and the North Korea ballistic missile corridor. This morning they boarded the TIFANI in the Indian Ocean, coming from Beijing, flying a Botswana flag. The Pentagon called it “stateless” and invoked right-of-visit authority. The U.S. Department of War is now backing up the U.S. Treasury on the high seas. The new American enforcement regime has no geographic boundary.
