The Systemics Quarterly Brief is the productized expression of Competitive Futures’ core analytical practice, delivered as a recurring subscription rather than a commissioned engagement. Each Brief is a fixed-format strategic intelligence product covering the structural shifts most likely to alter our clients’ competitive and geopolitical environment over the coming quarters and years — produced from open-source evidence, classical foresight methodology, and the rigorous sourcing standards described elsewhere on this site.
Each Brief contains named analytical findings, falsifiable predictions, indicators to watch, and decision triggers tied to the strategic posture of the receiving organization. The Brief is delivered in writing and accompanied by a private analytical conversation with the firm’s principal at the close of each quarter, scoped to the client’s decision environment.
The Brief is not a newsletter. It is not a research report. It is a confidential strategic intelligence deliverable produced for a small client roster and not distributed beyond it.
Who Receives It
The Systemics Quarterly Brief is commissioned by a limited number of client organizations whose decision environments warrant continuous strategic intelligence at this depth. Receiving organizations have included Fortune-scale corporate leadership, sovereign government offices, and private capital allocators with multi-decade investment horizons. We do not publish the client roster. We accept new commissioning relationships on a selective basis, with capacity reviewed annually.
What It Contains
Each quarterly edition is built to a fixed analytical structure:

Methodology
The Brief is produced using the open-source intelligence tradecraft and classical foresight methodology described in our Services and How We Work sections. Findings are independently sourced and verifiable. The Brief does not rely on classified material, paid information access, or anonymous sourcing.
The analytical record is the product. Past predictions are documented and traceable. Clients commissioning the Brief receive analytical work whose track record can be evaluated on its merits.
Engagement and Pricing
The Systemics Quarterly Brief is commissioned on an annual basis, with pricing scoped to the receiving organization and the depth of decision-support required. Commissioning begins with a qualifying conversation in which we and the prospective client jointly determine whether the Brief is the right product for the client’s decision environment.
We work under NDA as a matter of course and accommodate standard client-side contracting frameworks.
