Systemics Quarterly Brief · Q2 2026

From Miami to Kharg Island, bad guys are still in trouble.
The second quarter of 2026 continued to make life difficult for felons. Sentences replaced indictments, systems architecture replaced improvisation, and resistance arrived exactly where the model says it should: inside the institutions doing the enforcing. The edition’s scoreboard records fifteen formal institutional consequences, from a former congressman convicted of foreign-agent and money-laundering charges in Miami to the first U.S. indictment of a sitting Mexican governor and new export-control arrests tied to Iran.
The Executive Director’s letter explains why we have gone back to the numbers, from crude oil prices to prosecution counts, while the Narrative Engine keeps telling stories that don’t check out. It places the Golden Age of Enforcement inside a larger strategy of American dominance. We read Q2 as Stage 4 consolidating across the enforcement domains, and our forecast for the rest of the year is for prosecutions to increase in pace and intensity and for the new, American-led order to solidify.
