This trend in unemployment and job creation shows just how far the US economy has come since the crisis of 2008.

We were heavily skeptical when the finance sector was crowing about how the recovery was roaring by 2010. This was clearly overstated. Today, however, combined with broadly positive economic data, it is clear that the job creation engine is well matched to the available workforce.
